Xscapers RV Club has invited me to share accounting and tax tips at their Annual Bash in Quartzsite, AZ in January 2018. Click here for more details.
In 2014, my wife and I sold our “sticks and bricks” home and began RV’ing full time with Luke, our one child that remains in the nest. With our family spread across the U.S., we are now able to spend quality time with our parents, adult children and now grandchildren. As a CPA, I’m able to work remotely so working while traveling full-time in our RV is not a problem. In fact, I’ve developed a specialty in helping working RVers with their accounting and tax needs since we are also living that adventure…and allows me the opportunity to share accounting and tax tips and insights at the Xscapers Bash.
As it turns out, there is a huge movement underway in the RV world. Working on the road or raising a family while RVing full-time is no longer a rarity but a rapidly growing segment of the RV community. Modern technology has provided new tools to make home and work life on the road easier. Pursuing the dream of full-time travel is increasingly possible for many aspiring RVers. Xscapers embraces this change and is ready to facilitate the journey. In their words, “Xscapers is a support network geared toward a new generation of RVers who have not yet retired and who have already, or are aspiring to, hit the road pursuing a full-time or part-time nomadic lifestyle”.
If you are an RVer or are thinking about hitting the road full-time, I encourage you to get in touch with Xscapers…better yet, come visit us in January!
